Tobbygbot (TikTok Integration)

Tobbygbot, at astrotobby.site/tiktok, lets you connect your TikTok account and post videos to it. This section explains what it handles when you use it.

What we receive from TikTok

• Basic profile info (scope user.info.basic): your TikTok open ID, display name and avatar, used to show which account you're posting to.
• Access and refresh tokens: issued by TikTok when you authorize, so we can post on your instruction.
• Creator settings: your available privacy options and whether comments, duets and stitches are allowed, so the posting form matches your account.

What we send to TikTok

Only the videos, captions and post settings you choose, using the video.upload (send to drafts) and video.publish (Direct Post) permissions. We never post without your action or an automation you set up.

Storage and retention

Tokens, a session identifier and a list of your last 10 post IDs are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV. Videos you upload pass through to TikTok and are not stored by us. We don't sell this data, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything other than posting to your account.

Disconnecting and deletion

Select Disconnect on the Tobbygbot dashboard to revoke our access with TikTok and delete your tokens and post history right away. You can also remove Tobbygbot from your TikTok app settings under Security > Manage app permissions, or email us to request deletion.

Your use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy.
